Waitlist Instructions

Welcome! Please fill out the following form to add your child to the Canmore Community Childcare waitlist. Before getting started, here are a few important notes to help ensure fairness and clarity:

Children must be born to be added to the waitlist. Unborn children will be removed, but you’re very welcome to submit the form once your child has been born.

The form will ask which program you’re applying for:

• Daycare: For children ages 1–5 (pre‑kindergarten). If your child is not offered a daycare space before they start school, they will automatically be moved to the Out of School Care (OOSC) list. Please do not sign up twice.
• OOSC (Out of School Care): For children who are in kindergarten up to age 12, or if you do not want or need care until your child is in school.

We highly recommend adding at least two adult contacts and contact information for both. Space offers will made by email, and due to high demand and a waitlist of families eager for enrollment, we require confirmation of acceptance within 48 hours. We will attempt contact by phone as well before moving on to the next family.

After submitting the form, you will receive an email confirmation. You’ll also receive periodic confirmation emails; no action is required to remain on the waitlist, but you’ll have the option to remove your child at any time if your plans change.
