Waitlist Instructions

Welcome to the Ford County Child Care Waitlist!

The Childcare Coalition of Dodge City is excited to offer this community-wide waitlist to help connect Ford County families with participating child care providers. Our goal is to make it easier for families to find care while helping providers fill available openings.

Participation by providers is completely voluntary and free of charge. Because of this, the providers listed in the dropdown menu do not include every child care provider in Ford County. You may indicate a preferred provider on the form; however, all participating providers will have access to the waitlist and may contact you if they have an opening that fits your family’s needs.

Providers offer a variety of schedules, age groups, and services. Some participate in DCF child care assistance and/or the Child and Adult Care Food Program, while others do not. Please share any specific needs for your family when completing the form. Due to the ongoing demand for child care, providers may contact you even if they do not meet all of your requested criteria.

Please note: A separate form must be submitted for each child you wish to place on the waitlist. Placement on the waitlist does not guarantee enrollment with a provider.
